What caused the Crisis?

COVID-19 isn't the only reason for the troubles in the German automotive supplier industry - Dieselgate, WLTP, Deutsche Umwelthilfe (Dieselfahrverbotgate), Fridays for Future, Brexit, Trumps Trade Wars, the advent of Electric Vehicles, complancency on the importance of Software in the Auto Industry and the ever accelerating pressure from low cost country competitors and the never ending pressure by German OEMs optimizing their results have precipitated the German Autocalypse.
